Looks like a lot of red faces there... This could have done some serious damage and clearly could have been deadly if it had smashed through the new glass building on the corner just a few metres south. Very lucky it would seem.

That is really good to see. I keep thinking of the horrifying photo DT_geek took of the spindly twig sticking out of the concrete on Wellesley St a couple of years ago. It really summed up how the city failed at greenery. Would love to see it again to remind everyone of the city's embarrassing...

The building is such a sexy shape that it's a shame to detract from it with the contrast between the windows and the cladding. It would have looked so much more high-end if the the entire tower were virtually all the same colour so you couldn't really tell where the windows are.

I hope to God they won't be lighting them up like I'm sure they'll be doing with the "exposed" crystals on the west side.

I don't think anyone called the folks at Bazis blind or stupid. Questionable taste, maybe. But not stupid. I'm curious... what function could the off-coloured panels have?
