Debate on the merits of the Scarborough Subway Extension

Beyond the SSE....we need to stop wasting money on many fronts! For example, if a BRT works on a street, why build a more expensive LRT?

    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I would not jump to that conclusion at this time. It is one of those things that you have to wait and see.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Don't jump to conclusions. Wynne might be able to counter the mimes but it may not be enough this time around.

Apart from his general social justice crusade, is Neethan Shan doing anything specific for Ward 42 (beyond supporting the SSE)?

Yonge Street, North York Streetscape Improvements

You can re-design a street to make it more pedestrian or cyclist-friendly but you will always have drivers who will not drive according the road layout and make it feel unsafe. I live in a neighbourhood where several of the streets bend, yet several drivers do 50-60 km and treat the...

Road Safety & Vision Zero Plan

There are many cases where it is the bureaucrats who have been there forever that don't see safe streets as a priority. Former Councillor Raymond Cho wanted stop signs where they were badly needed but the Transportation Department did not find that the interaction warranted them.
