I think I heard that the fare gates at Jane Station will start operating by Nov 2

Half of the gates at Jane Station (the ones closest to the collector booth) have been installed. Now they are working on installing the other set

Those signs are all over my neighbourhood but do not seem to be effective. There are people still doing 50-60 km/h in 30-40km/h zones (school zones to be exact). It is like drives read the signs and see 'Please Speed Up'

Doucette needs to worry more about the traffic the scrap metal place right at the corner of Jane and Dundas causes. She should also focus more on building some kind of centre for teenagers to hang out at. Them using the Jane Dundas Library as a hang out spot has been a concern for several.

...and reducing speed limits to 30km/h will achieve what?

Someone should write an article criticizing some of Mayor Miller's policies too!

Oh yeah...we had great choices in the last by-election. We had a choice between 'past his prime' Cho, 'desperate to be a politician' Shan and 'nice guy but connected to Wynne' Piriagal. That's why turnout was so low!
