These white edges look good from a distance. It feels like the wrong materials are chosen from the construction time and completion.

The interior design is really average, compared with those newly opened Park Hyatt hotels in Japan and China

The design reminds me of Raffles City in HangZhou.

The building is lined with metal strips to show the pattern. But the CIBC building relies on a three-dimensional glass surface to create a diamond pattern, and the metal strip is just an embellishment rather than an important part. These are two completely different ways.
