    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

This was off camera, so no one knows. I believe there will be a report back to the Board in March 2018. Its interesting how TTC changed their tune from very much against it, to now being more open on the whole matter. Its as if someone talked to them and are now willing to negotiate. If I...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

If its a Human Rights violation why is TTC moving ahead with it? They aren't even waiting for the matter to go through arbitration, they're just going ahead with it regardless if its a violation or not The Union says they are going to court. Why is TTC going down a road where apparently they...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

The reason why the new buses came in early was to increase the spare ratio. Apparently there are TTC buses with presto installed on them already. I expect in another month or so you will start to see more of them with presto

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

What about leasing buses to replace streetcar routes like 502, 503, 508, 506 until enough LRVs are delivered. Buses aren't that bad. Apparently there's a lot of streetcar operators that are dual trained. I'm sure TTC can sue the living daylights out of BBD, to point they will be out of business...

I still see a few operators using the cab doors at Eglinton Station. I guess the second generation of TRs won't have any cab doors. I thought that the same company that went bankrupt made both the cab doors and the main doors? Are these trains coming off warranty without this issue being corrected?

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

It made more sense to go with a manufacturer that already meets the requirements anyways. I'm not sure why TTC wasted there time, almost starting the process over again just to cut the process short anyways. They wasted their own time. But they did make a good point, which is probably why they...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

It looks as if TTC went with Nova for the extra 50 Buses. So I guess whatever deal NFI was trying to get with TTC didn't work out. Now it comes down to a temporary bus garage, or stick with MicNicoll Garage

Railfan window? it says don't block doorway. Which of course know one will enforce it, but its certainly not a railfan window. I guess the enjoyment of seeing out the front or back will be history. I actually got excited when I saw a T1 the other day on Line 1, I car hoped all the way to the...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I'm not saying your lying or anything. But where are you getting this info from? I looked on TTC website and can't find anything that says TTC is in talks with NFI. I know they have the option for more buses with Nova. Even if its leased buses, there's no mention of it on TTCs website, or the...

TTC: New Articulated Buses (In Delivery, Novabus)

TTC should take full responsibility of the Hybrid situation. Why didn't they test one and see how it worked. From What I've heard, the demo back in 2001 was a total failure, yet TTC still went ahead and ordered a shit load. WTF, how do you have educated people make a multi-million dollar...

TTC: New Articulated Buses (In Delivery, Novabus)

I find the rear doors take a long time to close on those buses. TTC awarded another contract to the same company for more buses. Is TTC still getting rid of the hybrids early? I was on Steve site not too long ago where one of the reports mention TTC wanted to get rid of the hybrid by 2015/16.

TTC: New Articulated Buses (In Delivery, Novabus)

Hopefully TTC is smart and they can send a message to the manufacturer before the rest of the order is delivered. I find all TTCs buses especially the low floor buses to have extremely slow rear doors. Its probably a spec by the TTC and not a defect. I'm pretty sure it can be adjusted tweaking...

    2014 Toronto New Year's Levee

Not everyone that shows up is a Ford supporter. There is still a few that just want to tell him their disgust for him.

TTC: New Articulated Buses (In Delivery, Novabus)

Well, some people on here complain about about the boring grey coloured walls along the Sheppard line, and the BD line. So I don't see why some can't complain about the colour of the bus. TTC could have done a better job, like add a back window similar to the Viva buses. The asymmetrical ceiling...

TTC: New Articulated Buses (In Delivery, Novabus)

    1) He said the TTC got 27 free buses from Orion 2) There was production problems holding the Nova LFSA buses from delivery until next year, 2014. So what he said was, a rumor, false information and/or a lie. Either way I was able to get the truth on the whole matter. And correct this so...

TTC: New Articulated Buses (In Delivery, Novabus)

You might be able to fool eveyone else on here, but you're not fooling me. Do you really think, in your right mind that TTC got 27 free buses!!! I'm no longer going to drag this conversation on. I can't believe TTC actually got you to believe that. I might as well dress up in whatever suit...
