If you like good techno music, do yourself a favor and buy a plane ticket to Berlin.

Given the close proximity to universities and mega healthcare, these units should be a synch to rent out.

    Worst City?

New Delhi is quite a disaster – a master-planned capital gone horribly wrong. Pollution like I have never seen before, extreme economic and social disparity, inadequate infrastructure and civic services, and parasitic sprawl that continues unabated as the urban population explodes.

The Red Lion?? What a shame... I used to enjoy that patio in the summertime!

TD has by far the largest retail branch and ABM network in the GTA, the longest operating hours, consistently wins the most awards for customer service and satisfaction and has the most ambitious retail growth plan of any financial institution in the city.

    Toronto architecture: a general observation

Agreed. It speaks to the whole concept of disposability. Archivist: were you able to check out the Leona Drive Project up in North York?

    Church-Wellesley Village

SP!RE: it's a shame you're too young to have experienced the Village even a few years ago – it actually used to be more of a destination and really a lot of fun! Not very much left on the strip these days...

Why are most of the photos centred in downtown Toronto?

Sorry, I get a nosebleed when I travel north of Bloor St.

Mississauga Valley looks a lot like socialist East Berlin.

Although I think the glass and details could have been handled better on ths one, it is great to see the increased density in the area.

Toronto already has some excellent hotels (Le Germain, The Hazelton, Drake, etc.) with even better ones currently under construction.

Bay Adelaide Centre West Tower (Brookfield, 50s, WZMH)

The tower is indeed a wonderfully minimalist building - I also agree if the other two are built using the same design and glass, the collective will really shine and truly enhance the overall downtown core.

Toronto Toronto | St Regis Toronto Hotel and Residences | 281.93m | 58s | JFC Capital | Zeidler

Umm... it was an installation: by Winnipegers Lorri Millan and Shawna Dempsey - an allegorical re-enactment of recent market instability that prompted screams of terror and exhilaration.
