I think it is 90 Bloor that is getting a face lift. There was a design competition sent out to architecture students at Waterloo, Toronto and Ryerson.

I hope they keep the somewhat colourful design was shown in the concept for the Athlete's Village. But the design in the precinct was really attractive as well.

Hmm maybe CN Tower in 2026? It is a huge symbol of Toronto (and the only thing American know about Canada). I'm just hopeful people will see the success of FCP. Lets face it, when it done, FCP will be the most attractive office tower in Toronto (personally).

I agree with jn. Big, tall buildings are 'sexy' to look at but they don't really change how a city funtions or its living standards. I don't what it is about people on here and the height of Toronto's buildings. There is no benefit to extremely tall buildings other than 'mine is bigger than...

Does this team really have the power to do this? Its not in the site the city wants and it isn't in the site the Cats want. Yet they have no issue demanding all this of the government and city? Hamilton needs to grow a pair.

From how I see it... a lot of Toronto's office towers are becoming dated. Towers compete for tenates, so if there is a new office tower that offers a more comfortable environment... then it puts pressure on older towers to revamp themselves. Thats why you see some of the office towers in DT...
