Several large office towers breaking ground in the next year... Sounds extremely ambitious. We don't even have plans for several large office towers. Phase 2 of BAC is the residential / hotel building, and 50 Bay Street has a very long way to go before ever breaking ground.

Looking back on this rendering, many of these are already finished or are well underway. It is quite amazing to see.

The rendering shows the red wall extending the length of the 2nd storey as well, although that does not appear to be happening seeing as they are dwellings. Think it will still look good?

I think we already have sufficient open space on this block, so I am a little concerned about the gigantic setback. I'd like to see more of a continuous street wall here.

If you look closely in the first picture, you will see the absolute world complex giving Toronto the finger.

I worked on the Avenues and Mid-Rise Buildings Study, and I'm very excited to see these kinds of projects begin to pop up. I think we can expect to see a lot more of this in the near future.
