A pedestrian bridge if done right could look very cool and give the street some interesting layers. This shot was posted by qzzq on skyscrapercity.

Hyatt Regency Toronto Airport (Regal Constellation site)

I wonder if those were taken by an urban geek like us many many years ago.

The Tenor (10 Dundas St E, Ent Prop Trust, 10s, Baldwin & Franklin)

Am I the only one here that thinks it is what it is and actually likes it in a novelty kind of way? This building over time will evolve over and over again and it will help (not that it already hasn't) give 24 life to that intersection.

Mine is the fact it's a the bend in bay and may create a MET like College Street street wall effect.

achender, thanks for the pictures. Anybody who hasn't been down there the site is massive. Only second to Cityplace in size if you include all the side by side developments.

    Lost Toronto

Just be glad it wasn't big enough in the 70's for 10-15 more FCP's.

To be honest when I first saw this thread I was excited thinking that the Toronto Star was planning on some sort of face lift for their monster at the foot of Yonge. But cool news for Etobicoke.

    Urban Toronto's 2007 Christmas Meet!

    Toronto Toronto | X The Condominium | ?m | 44s | Great Gulf | a—A

The great thing about the TD Centre is it's simplicity. The whole complex feels like a massive art gallery, which unlike other office towers around has a timeless feel to it. It's really tough to find an ugly angle of the TD Centre. If X can come as close as possible to it's downtown inspiration...

    Toronto Toronto | 46 Spadina Avenue | 100.76m | 30s | Capitol Buildings | Wallman Architects

True enough, but have you seen what they charged for units in these buildings? Or have you seen the resale value of units in buildings like TipTop lofts. People will pay extra for something unique like old warehouse space.

    Toronto Toronto | 46 Spadina Avenue | 100.76m | 30s | Capitol Buildings | Wallman Architects

What a waste if we lose these. I could live with a facadism of the smaller structure, but the larger industrial building should be saved. Why not do what they've done with TipTop Lofts, Toy Factory Lofts, and many other loft conversions in the city where they ad a set back and more floors to the...

    Toronto Toronto | Telus House - 25 York Street | 136.24m | 30s | Menkes | Sweeny &Co

Noticed yesterday that the Telus Core seems to be at the second level now. Also Maple Leaf Square has one small section at street level.
