Got a letter from Bell regarding a deal for Murano residents, anyone subscribe and how's the service? I'm thinking more of getting Rogers but torn between providers.

Rents are not cheap here at all however, a few realtors have told me there were many med students looking in Murano and ROCP for it's location. Apparently they've got the moolah.

I'm in the south tower and moving in the next few weeks. I'll report back, but what I"ve seen so far - lots of renters, multiple rental units listed on Craigslist and Kajiji. Seen Realtors with multiple viewings on rental units. The hallways are tight and so you can hear noise from units...

I wonder what the prices were for these townhouses. I walked by on Friday and noticed lot of younger folk have moved in. I've been shopping around TO for townhouses and so far average price has been $600K.

Toronto also does not have the same density as many larger cities. However, most Toronto new condo developments provide a really good selection on finishes that other cities don't offer for their new condo projects. I think this is where we get the better deals.

My apologies, it is the 1091 sq ft "Gothenburg" model. The model suite kitchen is an upgrade, so was the model suite kitchen at Murano, also an upgrade. However the standard finishes for Ice are much better than what they offered at Murano.

Going by the site, I'm suprised at how small the floorplate is, the models and renders make this project look like a very massive building. I know renders and models aren't accurate but this may turn out a very nice slender New York-style building.

I agree with JayBee, I was very disappointed with the standard finishes and hence ended up spending beyond my budget for upgrades. However, i was quite satisfied with the upgrade selections. I brought an interior designer with me and he said the prices for upgrades were reasonable.
