    Brampton Transit/Zum

It took me a good 5 seconds to realize what I was looking for lol I agree. I remember when I first moved to the province 13 years ago, they had like 10 routes and no Sunday service so they have certainly come a long way. Hopefully Brampton (and what Mississauga is planning to do) can keep it up.

Toronto - Bills series not a hit

It boils down to two things: 1) It's the Bills 2) Rogers severely miss guessed the demand and thought they could charge an outrageous amount for tickets for such a mediocre product (should of asked MLSE for help). Lessons learned for when TO does actually get its own team.

Scott Pilgrim film takes on Toronto!

From Simon Pegg's twitter account: Scott Pilgrim is the best f**king film I have seen in a long f**king time & not cos @edgarwright is my friend its cos he's a f**king genius! It might have some legs over in Europe.

25 ways to help make this the city it wants to be

    Sounds like downtown Cleveland.

China Creates The Answer To Our Problems

Somehow I have the feeling that our capitalistic unions would somehow object to something like that. Maybe in 2034 when our Chinese emperors take over... (I'm half kidding)

25 ways to help make this the city it wants to be

I think 95% of the people asked would say that street meat aka our wonderful hotdog vendors is the food TO is known for. Hell, I'm even enticed getting one whenever I go into the core. lol

    Toronto Toronto | Woodbine Racetrack Ancillary Facilities Building | 14.5m | 2s | Woodbine Ent | DIALOG

So with the province jumping on board the online gambling bandwagon, would it be an indicator that they're open to expending gambling in the province? (ie. a casino within city limts.. Woodbine?) Or is there something else at play?

    miWay Transit

I'm more hopeful seeing them on the 201 and 202 route, all day Monday-Friday.

    Toronto Toronto | Kipling Station Transit Hub | ?m | 2s | Metrolinx | SAI

Any updates on the inter-regional terminal? Can't seem to find anything other than an expected completion date of 2011 but don't they have to start construction before estimating when it will be completed?

    miWay Transit

Impressive stuff! Thanks for the pics Jason and drum! Always enjoy the sight of new buses on the road... only thing is, we've got to get these bad boys running all day on corridors like Hurontario and Dundas.

    Toronto Toronto | Maple Leaf Square | 185.92m | 54s | Lanterra | KPMB

That's what I was wondering about. Thanks! Might be worth buying a $10 dollar pint to check it out sometime.

Dayyum! Is that an actual TV or is it one of those high def projector screens like they have at WEGZ in Woodbridge?

    G-20 Summit in Toronto

Ironically the Miss Canada pagent is at the MTCC next week. Maybe that's the reason why they are erecting the fences up now... to keep him out. lol

$2 million fake lake inside of the Direct Energy Centre to make it "pretty" for the media centre... http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/820221--fake-lake-hits-bottom?bn=1 What's next? Is the PM going to install one of those novelty money machines inside of the MTCC and give every world...

    LCBO / The Beer Store

Duty free! If I remember correctly, you can pick up 24 cans of Moosehead for $18 American. Looking at those prices, I hate that we have to be "socially responsible"... I want my cheap booze dammit lol Makes me itch for a road trip across the border.

    Smitherman's Transit plan

I wanna respond to this thread as a transit rider who uses MT to get to Kipling/Islington. I for one would love to see an expansion of the Bloor-Danforth line more west towards the Mississauga border, but is it really gonna cost a billion dollars to accomplish that? (read the number from Munro's...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Excuse my ignorance but how will Presto work on a time transfer based system? For instance, if I stayed within Mississauga and use Mississauga Transit to transfer buses, would I have to tap on every time I got onto a new bus?
