After being in Quebec City, it is just night and day the care and attention + resources they pour here vs Gatineau. It's not just shocking, but frankly insulting.

Parkdale is getting much better quality buildings than most of the CBD, and especially Rideau. If the quality stays up there, I have high hopes for the results of Tunney's Pastures redevelopment (if the Feds ever get going on it)

This view really highlights how the "CBD" is very limited and how small "downtown" really is. If this was another city in Ontario, Multiplexes and towers (big and small) would probably extend south to the 417. All I see are homes and a few plex conversions until Ottawa's Kowloon wall strip
