I get what you’re saying but I see the lower frequencies partly as a cause of lower ridership and not just an effect.

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Yes but that’s not a great comparison since Munich’s metro area has a larger population than Alberta and their main airport ha 47 million passengers in 2019. Edmonton already serves as a low cost hub for Flair and Swoop, another an hour and a half south wouldn’t make any sense.

I sure hope the late July date is set in stone because just over a week later Muttart stop could be very useful for a good 25,000 folk music enjoyers. I also hope they open it before Folk fest because it’d be a good sign that they’re confident in the job, and are prepared to run it at full capacity.

In my experience the frequency, especially in the last few weeks has been pretty good in peak hours, and I’m taking it from Mck/Bel to SG so it must be even better from HSJ to Churchill, but it’s still majorly lacking on the weekends. This false perception that Edmonton is a 9-5 5/7 city needs...

They definitely aren’t, thought of it while waiting 20 minutes after getting to the station on time :D praying some kind of live updating can be available

Does anybody know if we’re getting ETS live when the SE opens? I don’t understand why it’s only buses that have it.

My bets would be on somewhere like Summerside or Lewis Farms

    Unknown - 76ave/114st - 6 storeys - Proposed

114th and 76th is personally my most used intersection and while it can get pretty clogged, it’s not too bad for most of the year. The issue with the lights is that they’re bad at being smart lmao. Each time a train comes, the cycle always starts with EB traffic, and only one direction goes at...

It’s definitely not creative, but it’s not horrible and I’m happy with any increased density in Belgravia/McKernan cause the density currently is ridiculously low

They definitely won’t have as many excuses to use. No car-sized blocks of concrete to discover this time around.

Had to take a close look at that picture, the reflection makes it look like they just stuck it on with scotch tape

    LRT Expansion Planning

Susan Ruttan must be a little embarrassed when she sees the trains packed to century park

    LRT Expansion Planning

If it means Kerry Diotte loses his job, I’m all for it. Sorry, not transit related.

I honestly have no idea if they’re real or not, I think they might just sound a bit more realistic. It sounds the same as the TTC flexity outlook and those bells are fake so I’m guessing it’s the exact same.

Ooh! Things are getting exciting lol. Yes, the train was ringing it’s bell as it crossed, but the sound isn’t great on my phone and there was a super loud street cleaner on 66th as I filmed so it’s hard to make much out.
