    Edmonton | Falcon Towers | 170m | 44s | Langham Developments | Arc Studio

Seems to be going at a pretty good pace to me. They seem to be on site every day of the week. Ground level always seems to take the longest, as well as the rest of the underground floors.

Cycling and Active Transportation in Edmonton

To be fair, the parking is a much bigger issue around dinner time when people have guests and food deliveries are being made. But doesn't hurt to see how this rolls out and maybe it won't be as big an issue as I think it might be.

    Edmonton | Valley Line LRT/ Valley Line West | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

My guess would be Aug 22. They probably want to be up and rolling for the start of the school year if everything goes as planned from here on out.

    Edmonton | Prairie Sky Gondola | 76.2m | ?s | Prairie Sky | DIALOG

I just think you have to be competitive with an Uber/taxi fare if you want people to use this as active transportation. If the price of an Uber for 2 people is around the same price, I think most people are simply going to use that option. I'm of the impression that this gondola will mostly be...

    Edmonton | Stationlands Residential Towers | 90m | 25s | Qualico | DIALOG

To the direct area, I think this is actually the absolute biggest project to affect the area (maybe Legends and Stantec). Having this massive amount of people living in this area will be huge, as one of the downfalls of the area is how dead it can be after office hours. It absolutely adds to...

    Edmonton | Prairie Sky Gondola | 76.2m | ?s | Prairie Sky | DIALOG

If that is actually the rate they're planning to charge, I don't think that this is anywhere close to economically feasible.

I figured this one would be occupied around now. Any word if occupancy has begun, or is about to shortly?

    Transportation Safety and Vision Zero

I'd be curious if you took out the homeless population downtown that chooses to dart out into the middle of the street, with zero concerns for getting hit, what if any impact that would have on the figures. I don't drive a lot downtown, but have definitely had a relatively high proportion of...

That's correct, I do not like the name they have chosen.

And I'm pretty stoked for the solar plant, and think it's a very exciting project. I believe the location is excellently situated for this project.

    Edmonton | Blatchford Development | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

When I drive by and a via train is parked there, I believe it goes all the way to the end. Although stand to be corrected if someone is more informed on this.

    LRT Safety

I like the idea, but this seems overly expensive at current, or even projected future ridership.

    Edmonton | Blatchford Development | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

As long as the infrastructure is in place, I really think Blatchford takes off at an astronomical pace. I know quite a few people that are interested, however are waiting for the neighborhood to build out a little, as they were nervous about being the first owners in a completely empty area...

    Edmonton | Horne and Pitfield Building Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Limak Investments

Sometimes old buildings just need to be demolished. Of course a historic board believes too many buildings are not being saved, as that's always their only opinion. If developers want to save buildings or facades I guess that's fine, although demolition is a lot more exciting as something...

EllisDon to Lead Prairie Link High-Speed Rail Partners - Edm-RD-Cal

This is one project I wouldn't be upset being 100% wrong about. If somehow this could all get built and operated with a reasonable subsidy from government, I'd be so thrilled. However if I had the time horizon to bet someone on this, I'd be pretty comfortable offering 100-1 odds for...

EllisDon to Lead Prairie Link High-Speed Rail Partners - Edm-RD-Cal

Nothing scientific about my prediction as I am not a transportation analyst. I would like to say there is a 0% chance in the next 15 years, but it is really difficult to predict beyond 5 years down the road if some transformative technology comes about which makes cost of constructing and...

EllisDon to Lead Prairie Link High-Speed Rail Partners - Edm-RD-Cal

I would hope there was a 25% chance, but more likely there is probably less than a 1% chance of this going forward in the next 15 years.
