As a pedestrian first this is incredible work and very encouraging to see.

I support this 100%. Right turn on red (and nigh-universal left turns) are aberrations only seen in North America, and honestly, they make little to no sense.Cities look to copy Montreal’s ban of right turns on red, but safety data lacking
MONTREAL - In an effort to prevent pedestrian and cyclist deaths, more North American cities are contemplating imitating Montreal by banning drivers from turning right on red lights.www.google.com
Challenge is that a lot of variance is what causes confusion. Hence the Valley line troubles and my weekly experience as a biker. Even though all those intersections have signs about no turning.Uhhh no thanks. Restrict right turns on red at trouble intersections, but a blanket ban on right on red at every intersection is a bad idea.
I'm hoping the DT core and neighbourhoods see this change soon.I wonder if we’ll see a move toward 30km/hr speed limits in neighbourhoods at some point.
