Not to criticize Teeple but it looks a little over designed to me.

What's multi-faith housing? The building I live in, like probably all multi-storey buildings in Toronto, houses people of many faiths but it's not multi-faith housing? Or is it? I don't get it.

Get rid of the upper, glass floors and you've got a splendid building.

There are dead trees on Market Street and Church just south of King, as well as dead and dying trees in Berczy Park. Are those getting replaced too?

My only gripe is that the windows aren't operable. It would've been nice if they could pivot open.

The first thing they need to do is get rid of the rats, literal not figurative ones although I'm sure the latter make their way there too, especially during TIFF. Over the past coupe of years, I've seen rats scurrying about in the square on multiple occasions. Gross. The whole place looks dated...

Pecault Square needs a serious re-think and reno. It's embarrassing.

Glad there's plenty of seating but those standard-issue, ersatz-traditional park benches are completely wrong for the park aesthetically. The park is still a fail. Hopefully, in a decade or so, it'll be ripped up completely and replaced with something better.

^^^ That little building's safe from demolition, right? I've always had a soft spot for it, especially when it housed the theatrical/special-effects/prosthetic make-up school (whatever it's called). Maybe the school's still there?

This is shaping up to be a major Toronto landmark.

It's a lot better than Peter & Adelaide. Faint praise, I know, but I'm trying to put a positive spin on it.

^^^ Well, at least the doors on the terraces are installed now. Until recently, they were all plywood.

If Mizrahi can't come through, a good outcome would be for Great Gulf to take over the project.
