Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

Wait, does that mean they will be closing the SRT until the new subway is done? That seems silly if there arent even shovels in the ground...

We should start guessing dates on when construction starts up again.... Similar to the wait we had for The One's permits to come in. My guess is October 14th 2021

How are they going to get the second half of this bridge in place? I assume they plan on using a barge again, but since the first part is in the way would they rotate it further to the west and then move it into place? Also, do we have an estimated date for the second half? Or any of the other...

No I dont believe it is, I believe is at the mid level between platform and surface level. There is a walkthrough here (with outdated art and names) but it doesnt look like it would match up here. Another link to the actual art here...

Man, I forgot the scale of those columns for a minute until I saw that last Benito picture with the worker standing next to it. Whats the ceiling height on that first floor?

Just as a side note, they are installing some of the additional barriers around the Pharmacy stop. I can try and get some photo's later if you guys want

If it is forced to be shorter, do you think the developers will put more into the architectural style to keep attention?

Ah that makes sense. But then whey is there no switch track between Keelesdale and Cedarvale? Thats a pretty significant section....

Excuse my lack of knowledge, but why do they have crossover tracks between both Ionview and Kennedy and Ionview and Birchmount? Wouldnt it make more sense to spread them out like the rest of the line?

It would be gorgeous. Would it theoretically be possible to put a park over the Union train shed? Like over all the white roofed bits in the picture above.

It looks like also on the west side of building 3? And on the far left between the unnumbered buildings?

Perhaps someone can help me out. It's not clear how much of this is pedestrian only and how much of it will have car access. Can someone help?
