    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Might be the one time I agree with the yuppies and millennials at BlogTO, but for sure! The seating arrangement on the Flexities is not good! I know it's because the equipment below the seats but like, the anti-social in you will hate it...

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

501 in some sections with buses isn't faster despite what naysayers will say...

TTC CLRV Streetcars: Where will they go once they are retired?

ALRV 4204 is now at Halton County and ALRV 4207 is to be preserved by TTC. As for the CLRVs, 24 left that are considered active, but 17 at most on weekdays, usually 6 on 506 and 12 on 511. On weekends number is much higher.

    Barrie Collingwood Railway (BCRY)

I wonder if this means BCRY will have more frequent trains now

    King Street (Streetcar Transit Priority)

It is a great idea to turn the King car into the King LRT car, but auto gods will have to understand that transit along King is paramount. The pilot has proved that, now if a LRT is built with all theses connections coming in the future, it'll be a slap in the face for them they don't know is...

    TTC: Streetcar Network

That seems like quite a squeeze for a new loop there although I have used that loop quite a few times riding the 501, and I defentily think it needs to he moved to where the lot is now.

The seemingly terminal decline of Tim Hortons

That's true, Tims had a large cult following. But I still feel like whenever RBI took over is when a lot of the decline happened with Tims

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

In Spring 2020, you will be seeing Flexities roll down Dundas. They're currently doing work on the overhead to accomdate pantographs.

The seemingly terminal decline of Tim Hortons

The last part is very true. People in small town don't care. They'll take any coffee. But people here in the city do, and Tims and RBI haven't been able to keep up with trends. In a way it's almost like Sears. They've done it with Burger King so how they haven't been able to do it with Tims...

    Toronto Toronto | Ontario Place | ?m | ?s | Infrastructure ON

Oh, it should be. If the Conservatives are known for praising and supporting history, why the hell do they want to tear down historic buildings. You could say it's to "make something new", but it's not. A few years ago I saw "The Trolley" documentary there, and yeah, although currently Cirque...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

It should, but there are still a suprising amount of (mostly) older folks out there who still pay by cash, and me sometimes too for nostagia's sakes.

The seemingly terminal decline of Tim Hortons

It is a shame that ever since RBI took control of Timmies things have been horrible.... I feel like RBI is to blame for many of the things that have happened to them lately. They can try with their pasteries but no thanks, McDonalds is better then them now. And when one of the world's greediest...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

As mentioned, there will also be CLRV extras on the 501 weekends through November Board from Roncesvalles to Kingston Rd only.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

There's a mere 60 CLRVs left on TTC property with 40 in active service. They only operate 506 and 511 at this point in time. ALRVs are all retired now after the last run on Labour Day.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Personally I'm glad Munro brought it to the news, because the situation is getting ridiculous. Yes funding comes into play, but we need those 60 Flexities hard and fast.

Yep KONE products are always fairly bad

    The Retail Apocalypse

You could say Forever 21 wasn't gonna last forever...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I am quite surprised that they are able to get the remaining two ALRVs in working order given they have been out of regular service for months now, but I'm glad they were able to for one last ride.

    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Exactly. I don't think having something like that on the Crosstown is a good idea anyways for multiple reasons, mainly because there's a lot more cell phone zombies here then Waterloo.

Traffic congestion will slow the automobile obsessed candidates down! Also 4519 was on the 501L the other day
