TTC CLRV Streetcars: Where will they go once they are retired?

That makes a lot of sense. I think can already sense what units might end be saved, based on what ones are still around. It will be a challenge for both TTC and HCRR to get them working especially the ALRVs, but it'll pay off at the end for nostalgia reasons.

    Planned Sprawl in the GTA

Of course, exactly why Canada and US have LOTS in common. "Following the leader"

TTC CLRV Streetcars: Where will they go once they are retired?

We are now down to 70-80 CLRVs. By September the plan is to fully convert the 501L. Around that time it's predicted there will only be 50 left. Then by January both the 511, and of course the 506 will be fully converted to Flexity. At least if all the Flexities are here by January

    Transit Fantasy Maps

I never understood why the 5 Dixie went onto Ogden Ave. Sounds a lot more direct to take Dixie up that way instead.

    Mayor John Tory's Toronto

Well we do remember when he re-elected in October based on "overwhelming support", but that was only because the other high profile candidate was Keesmaat and not a lot of people know her. I think that was the last approval ratings for Tory if I'm not mistaken.

One thing's for sure, the "treating Transit City like a god idea", idea, is definitely something Miller thought of it. Lesile intercestion I think will need to some changes to make it appear more pedestrian friendly in the future as well.

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

It's quite interesting about the limbo 4401 has been in. And maybe we should all have a party when it enters service in 2020. Okay, maybe not a party it's baby steps with 4401, baby steps. Is this supposed to be a tourist ad or something?

    Toronto Toronto | Ontario Place | ?m | ?s | Infrastructure ON

To be quite honest, I quite like this idea about a dome spa at Ontario Place, it's actually one of the better ideas Ford has come up with,

I'm confused. What does this have to do with Eglinton West LRT?

I’m tired of the lack of civility downtown

Ah Consumers Distributing. Anyone else remember them? As I try not to veer too off topic, but it was of course the one store that NEVER has what you wanted. Ever. But seriously their businesses model worked well to prevent shoplifting, maybe they should have been an model for the...

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

The folks at TB don't have to take a vacation right away, they just wait till they complete 4603, and then they should have time to take all the vacations in the world after that.

    Toronto Eaton Centre

Makes sense to me. And that other downtown store you so speak of is the one that will eventually open at Yonge/Bloor.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Castle Frank is gonna be honest, somewhere I think the streetcar network doesn't need to go. However as many have said in the past, Coxwell is 100% somewhere eventually see streetcars, if they get rid of that parking lot in the way that is..

Stupid, Unsupported Clickbait Articles That Rate Transit Systems Around The World

I agree. You cannot just trust this random list and expect people to think that every system on the list is automatically "great"

TTC: Flexity Streetcars Testing & Delivery (Bombardier)

Probably not. That's my guess. I can already foresee cars still being delivered in January.... Maybe if we take away their cars, they'll learn...

    Toronto Toronto | Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Ford willl pretty much say anything about anything, and so I wouldn't be surprised one bit if this is what ends up happening That's pretty legit. West is where most Cons reside, and anywhere else is a mix on what the voters want elected I find,
