    Calgary | TELUS Sky | 222.19m | 60s | Westbank | Bjarke Ingels Group

I love the light show at night and still find myself looking up in the evenings when I'm out for walk. I appreciate that it gives our skyline some distinction in the dark and that it can be admired even from a distance from downtown. Yes, the broken lights are a distraction but I would never...

    Calgary | Francesco's | 48m | 16s | Arlington Street | DAAS

It looks like Taka Ramen and Sunday Furniture (old Frank & Oak location) signed new leases in the hotel location, so I'm wondering if it might be a while for the hotel development

    Calgary | West Tenth 1400 | 24m | 7s | Trimount

That's fair. I don't actually support a park in this location, but I didn't agree with a statement that parks are a frivolous endeavor. Thanks for the clarification.

    Calgary Restaurant Thread

I think they posted on their Instagram that the trees are originally from Wurst before the renovations for South Block. Glad they found a new home here at Porch!

Walked passed the Porch this morning and they filled the planters with mums and it looks great! Can't wait for this one to open!

There's a reason Rempel turned off the comments on her tweet. Urban Development and Proposals Discussion

Could they develop the south parcel into something mixed use? Or would the economics not be there?

    Calgary | Park Central | 134m | 39s | Hines | S.C.B.

They fenced off the second tower now and began ripping up the parking lot when I walked by at lunch

    Calgary Regional Rail Transit

I assume that this Airport-Banff train would price out airport employees who would want an affordable LRT option to the airport?

Oof, I wouldn't mind if it passes hands one more time before it gets built

    Calgary | Century Garden Park | ?m | ?s | City of Calgary | PFS Studio

The EV basketball court really shows you what a great contribution a court can be to a community. It provides an opportunity for physical activity for youth, adds vibrancy to an area, and seems to be rather low maintenance. Really hope the City adds more throughout downtown and the Beltline.
