  1. Rising Mist

    Vancouver | Senakw Development | ?m | 56s | Squamish Nation | Revery Architecture

Best thing to do if you're Squamish first nation is start large, going way over what you need, and then make it look like you're compromising down to something decent.
  2. Rising Mist

    Vancouver | Coquitlam Centre | ?m | ?s | Morguard Corporation

Pretty ambitious idea. I like it, Coquitlam taking on Burnaby for king of the skylines!
  3. Rising Mist

    Vancouver | Kings Crossing | ?m | 36s | Cressey | IBI Group

The glass really does look good. I'd kill to see a 50 floor office tower with that kind of glass.
  4. Rising Mist

    COQUITLAM | Lougheed Heights | ?m | 39 fl | Bosa

Around the 5th floor area, they are painting some of the exterior concrete.
  5. Rising Mist

    COQUITLAM | Wynwood Green | ?m | 28s | Anthem | IBI Group

Forgot about the bugs, they would definitely be a problem.
  6. Rising Mist

    COQUITLAM | Lougheed Heights | ?m | 39 fl | Bosa

I see they are goinbg with painted concrete in some spots. ?
  7. Rising Mist

    COQUITLAM | Wynwood Green | ?m | 28s | Anthem | IBI Group

It looks like a development that buried in the jungles of Panama or somewhere like that. For those who love nature, getting up each morning and looking at the trees will be nice. Those on the 12th-16th floors will have a really cool of the city with tree tops right below the view.
  8. Rising Mist

Condo vs Rental stock in Vancouver

Yeah, most developments are units for sale. You don't see a lot of rental towers in Vancouver.
  9. Rising Mist

    BURNABY | Triomphe | ?m | 46s | Millennium | Chris Dikeakos

You see that a lot nowadays. Something to give the building a little extra zip.
  10. Rising Mist

    Vancouver | Joyce | 88m | 30s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

This one should be interesting when it's done.
  11. Rising Mist

    Vancouver | Kaslo | ?m | 6s | PCI Developments

I don't care for the lime green and orange the building's form is nice, and the extra retail on E Hastings is a bonus.
  12. Rising Mist

    BURNABY | Triomphe | ?m | 46s | Millennium | Chris Dikeakos

Turned out okay. A clone of the other towers in Burnaby, but it's helping to make Burnaby's skyline into a force.
  13. Rising Mist

    Vancouver | The Amazing Brentwood | ?m | 63s | Shape | James KM Cheng

Kinda sad that our tallest building is a suburban clone tower that's indistinguishable from the rest, but I'll take it. It's nice to have a building over 200 meters.
  14. Rising Mist

    Vancouver | 401 West Georgia Street | 42.37m | 9s | Oxford Properties | B+H

This is a nice boutique style building, and makes a nice contrast to the ultra modern church.
  15. Rising Mist

Vancouver, 445 Kingsway and 2935 St. George Street

I like it. It wouldn't be the same as 100 years ago, but with the other rail lines I suppose not many lines are needed. Even a couple of street car lines would be great.
  16. Rising Mist

BURNABY | Solo Disrtict Cirrus | 48 fl

    A mini Dubai forming lol.
  17. Rising Mist

    Vancouver | The Arc | 88m | 29s | Concord Pacific | Francl Architecture

  18. Rising Mist

    BURNABY | Highline | 53 fl

Burnaby's skyline is going to take over!
  19. Rising Mist

    Vancouver | The Smithe | 87.47m | 27s | Boffo Developments | GBL Architects

To the west, even better. Maybe someday you can post a sunset shot :)
  20. Rising Mist

Vancouver, 445 Kingsway and 2935 St. George Street

Traffic on Kingsway will get worse, but yeah, it's always been bad.Maybe someday Kingsway can run a tram or streetcar?
