I don't think so either - Doug Sr's funeral was at a Protestant church. I know there was talk of a first communion for his daughter a while back, but it could be that Renata's Catholic.

Miscellany Toronto Photographs: Then and Now

What's the context of the photo? A family photo stapled into an album? Do you know who the people are? Could I look them up in the 1921 census?

It would not have been acceptable no matter who he ran over, but she does not look that old to me either. She is a short, grey-haired grandmother, but she is not elderly and frail.

The outdoor rinks - Agincourt, Clairlea, Heron Park, McGregor - were converted to indoor rinks in the 60's or 70's.

    Exactly, thus my sarcasm.

True, and Rob knows all that because as the CFO of Deco he would have been responsible for filing the tax returns.

Not if anyone at the Canada Revenue Agency is paying attention (big assumption). I don't think trips to City Hall, to the Esso station, the LCBO, the high school parking lot, and Douglas B. Ford Park qualify.

It appears to you that it covers both Canada and USA operations. It appears to me that it covers the 46-employee Wood Dale, IL location. It appears to me that the Etobicoke plant employs "nearly 70 people over a busy, 24/7 production schedule throughout most of the year"...

That might explain the clean(ish) spot in this photo at the Queen/Bay corner.

Not that I've seen. Those were taken for the TTC. Another one of the Eglinton Station, pre-Canada Square, in 1954.

You can't have that one - it's mine. But I also like this one next door - which I think is going going gone. And 71 Park Lane Circle. http://robertmoffatt115.wordpress.com/2010/04/08/longer-lower-and-wider-on-the-bridle-path-part-2/

Not quite. I just guessed her age and typed her name into a search box. Somebody else took the photo. http://canadianheadstones.com/on/view.php?id=203664 She's at Mount Pleasant if you and thecharioteer want to pay your respects.:)
