Don't worry - I doubt the name will change People here are very tied to old names (or too lazy or disorganised to change). Toronto Hydro still has the Duke Street Transformer Station, though Duke St became Adelaide in the 1970s. (It is at corner of George & Adelaide.)

Infrastructure Ontario ‘strongly encouraged’ friendships with major bidders, ex-St. Mike’s exec. says in defence at $300M fraud trail “Friendship was not defined as a conflict of interest at Infrastructure Ontario,” testified Vas Georgiou, who’s accused of colluding to help a GTA construction...

Yes, and how the land now meets the water. Thanks!!

Indeed it does, looks like they finished the dock-wall. Sharp eyes!! Maybe Mr @hawc can make another pass so we can see it better from above?

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

This document on the TTC's plans for Hillcrest may have been posted before but I just saw them https://www.ttc.ca/about-the-ttc/projects-and-plans/Hillcrest-Complex-Upgrades

As the Irish say "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride" Much as I would like to see the Hearn used for something public, I am not holding my breath or getting even slightly excited by hints with no supporting evidence.

The simple answer is "there are none and it is not a public building" More info on the Hearn pages https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/threads/future-of-the-hearn-generating-station.15157/

There are lots of permits visible in your photo. City Building Permit status site shows conversion to residential.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Holyday has actually only been on Board for 2 years - yes, 2 years too long, but..... He replaced Minnan-Wong as Olivia was trying to be 'nice'.

IF Canada Post were sold the buyer would still need these modern plants. You might as well start a discussion on whether a new owner might paint mail boxes blue or green.

Now it's Chris Moise and Holyday are off. Replaced by Bravo and Malik

Toronto Toronto | St Lawrence Market North | 25.3m | 5s | City of Toronto | Rogers Stirk Harbour

There is also a "Senior's Centre" on west side of the 2nd floor mezzanine - it too is being studied by the City and it is unclear who would run it (The St Lawrence Community Centre??) and who would use it - or for what. I think (correctly??) that the Courts occupy all of floors 3 and higher.

    Toronto Toronto | KING Toronto | 57.6m | 16s | Westbank | Bjarke Ingels Group

Much as I like the glass block walls, I think they might look better if they had used clear 'caulking' between then not the black they chose,

Toronto Toronto | St Lawrence Market North | 25.3m | 5s | City of Toronto | Rogers Stirk Harbour

The 2nd floor area in the photo is NOT offices, it is a potential restaurant - which the City has yet to find a tenant for. (Doubtless explained by the opening of the building being so ahead of schedule!)
