NXT & NXT2 Condos (Cresford Developments) - Real Estate -

The effects of electromagnetic field from power lines are not well researched and not really known. However, it does not take much to scare potential buyers, and resale value can be affected by couple of science -fiction articles or an exaggerated scare in the press. The movie China Syndrom...

Wanting to enter the landlord game

Renting furnished? Does anyone have experience with renting out furnished condo? Have to rent mine when going abroad for couple of years, and I don't want to move all this furniture. The condo is newer 1 bdrm downtown, high-end finishes, and so is the furniture (sparse). Would it be...

    Future of Toronto condo prices

Good point Granny! But we need the doom and gloom view too, that way people can consider both sides.

Condo Purchase contract- Some Questions! monarch group contract

It can be many things, depending what is and isn't already in the contract, and what you need. Most builders back off from petty legal fees ( Vendor's legal & admin fees, Vendor's Transaction Levy Surcharge to Law Society etc). Others could be: - HST (some contract couple of months ago...

Sealed and Polished Concrete Floors, How much?

I would feel like living in my parent's garage... But it's individual preference of course. One more thing: if you drop your favourite vase on concrete floor, it's gone. On wood, it has a chance.

Survey of 2bd/ 2bath/ preconstruction prices in toronto december 2009

If you are buing for resale, aren't one bedroom that are in highest demand? They are the first to go in any new launch. Two bedroom requires much larger deposit, and if it is downtown, it's usually out of reach for most first-time buyers. I would expect it will be harder to sell.

Great building, location, and all, but not much in terms of choice of units at this stage.

    Toronto Toronto | M5V Condominiums | 118.87m | 35s | Lifetime | Core Architects

Perhaps we are refering to two different versions for 56 BJW? The previous one approved by the City was quite neat. I came across these reports when considering buing into M5V. The final report was issued June 3, 2009, and the council is to vote next week, so these are not last year news. I...

    Toronto Toronto | M5V Condominiums | 118.87m | 35s | Lifetime | Core Architects

You misunderstood. It is not OK for ANY building to contravene any code, that's why I said M5V was a problem. If somebody speak up louder before MV5 was approved, a bad precent would not have been set, and maybe there would be no problem today. Compounding one bad planning decision...

    Toronto Toronto | M5V Condominiums | 118.87m | 35s | Lifetime | Core Architects

Important to all m5v owners City Council is going to vote on rezoning application for 56 Blue Jays Way on September 15. The City Planning Division recommended refusal of this application on several grounds. To put it briefly, the proposed building is 42 storey, has excessive massing, and...
