The design doesn't look that bad, though the massing does somewhat overwhelm the historic post office.

Seems like this site was doomed for bad architecture from the start.

With OCAD now with an official university designation and its growing prominence, it would make sense to expand its presence in the area. Maybe a multi-use building with lecture, gallery, retail, and even some student residential space to meet growing demands.

Larger format retail may have worked better in the basement level.

Considering that 88 Scott is another Concert development and P+S is affiliated with IBI Group, this building so far indicates some causes for concern regarding poor cladding execution.

Not bad. Orange and black create a nice contrast. I also really like the pedestrian arcade running through the ground level.

Great looking building. I love how the balconies create various effects when viewed from different angles.

Awaiting the first piece of cladding any day now. Hopefully it looks better than Cinema Tower's.

No doubt its a great addition but looks a bit too cheezy for me. Choice in coloured glass is probably more suited for Clifton Hill.

Looking good so far. The zipper portion is becoming more prominent, and those white bits will create an interesting effect.

I'd like to see a nice streetwall along this stretch of Davenport.

The massing and design are just perfect. If only Cityplace was planned with such initiatives.

It's best to ignore those realtor-made mock websites. Most of the content is copy and paste info and summary from various unconfirmed sources.

Looking forward to the library. It will act as a much needed community and social space for neighbourhood.

Does that explain the need for being defensive and personal? This new building is an absolute joke though. Another shoddy attempt at a faint recreation of how Europe appeared to be. I've seen enough of these ugly building redos on Corso Italia.
