A little bit yet, but Bridgeland, and the area around Bridgeland has been making great progress in population growth. I wouldn't be surprised to see a grocery store sometime between 5 and 10 years. Taking a look at only the Bridgeland's population, we see decent growth from 2011 to 2021. Three...

Funky looking buildings! Can't decide if I love the balconies or hate them.

    Calgary Flames Official Thread

I thought a team could jump as high as three spots forward, but essentially the teams three spots ahead all get bumped one spot back, or maybe I'm way off.

Beat me to it! I took these around 4:30pm. I did snag a few so I might as well post them. I will say one thing about this color is it’s interesting. It looks different in different lights and I think it’s going make the building standout. From this distance the second tone color looks almost...

I'll try and snag a pic of the other panel tone. I'm curious to see what it looks like up close.

I'm thinking it must be LED strips, but it could be one of those renderings that doesn't reflect the actual product.

I think it's a combo of both. Trees are easier to grow in Vancouver for sure, combined with the city of Calgary not making trees a bigger priority for the Beltline area. It's too bad the city doesn't allocate money for trees and shrubbery based on people per sq km. Downtown and the Beltline...

The white looks nice and clean. I'm waiting to see if there are any gray panels like the rendering shows? Personally, I'd prefer all white panels and the gold-like balconies, and that's what I'm hoping for.

Could be. I've seen soil sampling done at sites in between a land use and DP, and then again after the DP.

As soon as this snow melts the grass will be green everywhere. It was greening up nicely before the snow.

It seems like one of those years. I definitely recall a few years where nice weather is on and off right into May. This is one of those.

Calgary Bike Lanes and Bike Paths

It's not so much about the inner city saving money or tax allocation, more of just how nice it would be for the inner city to be able to get the things they want that would be good for the inner city.

Calgary Bike Lanes and Bike Paths

Sometimes I wish Calgary was split into two semi-autonomous cities - inner Calgary and outer Calgary, let's them Calgary, Urbgary and Burbgary Urbgary would be roughly a 5km radius from the center of downtown. In Urbgary, blanket zoning is still in effect, there is a focus is on a bike lanes...
