I think it's a combo of both. Trees are easier to grow in Vancouver for sure, combined with the city of Calgary not making trees a bigger priority for the Beltline area. It's too bad the city doesn't allocate money for trees and shrubbery based on people per sq km. Downtown and the Beltline...

As soon as this snow melts the grass will be green everywhere. It was greening up nicely before the snow.

It seems like one of those years. I definitely recall a few years where nice weather is on and off right into May. This is one of those.

It's not so much about the inner city saving money or tax allocation, more of just how nice it would be for the inner city to be able to get the things they want that would be good for the inner city.
