Oh wow. This is already quite tall, and it's just the smaller segment too. It's looking wonderful.

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

It's impressive how it looks about 15-20M taller than it really is. Lovely profile.

It is so nice seeing this parking lot bite the dust..

    Toronto Toronto | Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

big and shiny, i'm just pretty let down by the warmth lost from the previous design. a whole lotta grey here

    Toronto Toronto | Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

looking kinda ugly to me now.. bummer.
  6. A

    Toronto Toronto | PJ Condos | 156.96m | 48s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

looks like this will certainly help break up that monotony of glass from such a prominent angle.. great

    Toronto Toronto | CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

oh those diamonds when fully formed are going to POP
  8. A

    Toronto Toronto | 1 Yorkville | 183.18m | 58s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

In direct light this building looks nice. Could still have used better materials but i'll take it. It's when it's not so sunny out and you lose all that jagged definition running up the tower.

    Toronto Toronto | Dundas Square Gardens | 156.05m | 50s | Gupta | IBI Group

just a jumbled mess. it ruins the definition between towers in the dundas-jarvis skyline IMO..

    Toronto Toronto | The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

This is going to be one of the most drastic changes to the skyline coming up. For what it lacks in height, it makes up for in density, girth and location. This site is laying such an important piece to Toronto's urban fabric IMO.

    Toronto Toronto | Form Condos | 50.59m | 14s | Tridel | a—A

it's like they took leftover scraps from ten york to put together a building.
  12. A

    Toronto Toronto | 50 at Wellesley Station | 114.9m | 37s | Plaza | BDP Quadrangle

gutter trash.. that frit looks like broken glass. ugliest building of the year and will probably hold that title
  13. A

    Toronto Toronto | 1 Yorkville | 183.18m | 58s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

At the end of the day, IMO it will still look good. The cladding is dramatic and sharp enough.
  14. A

    Toronto Toronto | eCondos | 195.67m | 58s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

this tower looks much taller than it's 196m height.
  15. A

    Toronto Toronto | The HUB | 258.46m | 59s | Oxford Properties | Rogers Stirk Harbour

That skyline render gives a bad perception as CIBC square, One Yonge, the developments along bayside and whatever else is being built in the lower east side of downtown will fill up the empty space. Toronto will have a radically new postcard shot from the lake.
  16. A

    Toronto Toronto | Ryerson University: Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex | 105.76m | 27s | Ryerson University | Perkins&Will

that glazing looks fantastic, imo. should be easy to spot on the skyline with that brightness
  17. A

    Toronto Toronto | eCondos | 195.67m | 58s | Bazis | Rosario Varacalli

this shot is giving me bloor/yonge south view from st clair vibes.. the city is growing up so fast
  18. A

    Toronto Toronto | Massey Tower Condos | 206.95m | 60s | MOD Developments | Hariri Pontarini

i'm personally digging the northside curtain wall as it continues to be applied. the ripple effect is sharp
  19. A

    Toronto Toronto | The Livmore | 138.68m | 43s | Vertica | IBI Group

The shift area already has a bit of glazing.. it looks great too. I'm so puzzled as to who made the cladding choice on the podium floors

    Toronto Toronto | The Selby | 165.5m | 50s | Tricon | bKL Architecture

this building looks incredible in the skyline driving south on the dvp, especially with that notch
