Nice shot and it's interesting that I actually only like the tall white condo in YorkVille and the tall condo to the right of it on Bay st in that view.

It really is a sick joke. It makes me think the studio was raped and murdered and it's front on the side of the condo is it's head cut off and out for show. Now I know that the Toronto Heritage Board and Preservation Board is a joke.

I agree that the tower is not that great but still a great addition to downtown Toronto.

Omg, they're only there with the new cladding on FCP when they've been working on it for like a year... Now I really do believe they'l finish the trump tower, inside and out before the new cladding is complete on FCP.

It's nice but it doesn't really go with the area. Hopefully at a not much later date some of those ugly brown buildings will be demolished and replaced, especially the little brown apt right behind the demolition... that has just got to go first.

I'm sorry, but those 2 dark gray box towers in the bottom pic just got to go and be replaced with something much better and before anything else in that pic.

It's far away enough to not cast a shadow over queens park or city hall so it's height and location should be fine.

It may be very outdated and run down and looks like it will probably be replaced with a condo or something in this decade but I love that short old red building with the parking lot in front of it and find it adds the most character to the area. Ah ha, it's the Toronto image works building.

Wow, it certainly looks like a world class city to me!

Is it just me or does anyone else feel that it has been taking an awkwardly long amount of time for the city to complete a small and kind of simple project like this? I mean almost 4 years just to do this? I don't know but it just feels bizarre to me.

I don't think these buses would work here because our traffic lights are too high and that would cause the people driving under the bus to not be able to see if the lights turning red.

This is a nice okay looking tower for me. It looks pretty much done now. Is it's completion only 2 weeks or less away?

I think it's a good bet that there will be a huge push for the card once the subway is extended into Vaughan, making it happen within a year or two. Sadly I think there's a very slim chance that it will ever happen before that time. I hope I'm wrong though.

I agree that the whole thing is turning out to look ugly. At night it looks even worse and like it came from a swamp. I know I'm gonna like the Shangri-La a whole lot better when it's completed.
