Not at all. The higher floors do not have any of the drywall or finishes completed. I am not sure if any over 5th floor are complete.

Builders use the current BoC 1 year rate to calculate interest component of occupancy fees which is 7.84% right now. My client opted to increase down payment by $50k to minimize occupancy and long term mortgage costs. Builder agreed. Went through lawyers to facilitate.

It's $150 per day up to 50 days (max $7,500). If you incurred other certain expenses, you may be able to recoup some additional costs.

How much was the date delayed compared to previously?

It is interesting, I have found some builders not dating their revised occupancy letters as a way of trying to protect against paying out the delayed occupancy compensation. I had an unrelated recent experience when I made a claim with Tarion and the builder replied that I was not eligible for...

Has anyone received a letter confirming the firm occupancy date for this fall? Wondering if there will a further extension or not.

My occupancy is end of November. I am on the 7th floor. Should know by end of August if further delaying. What floor are you on and when in October are you expecting occupancy?

I was at the site yesterday. Tried to talk to one of the contractors. Said he couldn't share anything with buyers. My occupancy is in November and he expresesed confidence that they would be ready by then. I am a little doubtful of that timing. Not sure if anyone else has an earlier occupancy...
