Don’t think there’s any room to move the washrooms, the lower level on the older cars don’t have the space for the washrooms that are on the new cars.

There is a new one that MX has listed in their 2024 Annual Procurement Plan.

Interesting that they specifically said 27, considering that is the same number of MP40s in the first batch they ordered around 2006-2008.

Well, in MX's list of 2024 tenders, they have one that is for delivery of diesel electric locomotives, with an initial order of 27 with provisions for up to 53. Maybe it could be for GO then.

Then again, looking at the order, $600 mil seems like a lot for only 27 locomotives. Unless GO is ordering like 200 locomotives I am now starting to doubt that this is for GO.

If this is GO, I am guessing that means we probably will see more MP54ACs then.

Update, 214 has now been moved to the outside of the Whitby Rail Facility.

I think by the time EMUs would be required MX would opt for single level EMUs (and probably those made by Alstom). Also minor grievance I have is the lime and forest green on the render are flipped (MX trains have forest green on top, lime on the bottom).

Also saw 214 inside the facility, for the OnCorr stuff as mentioned before.

Saw this being pulled at Whitby Yard just now, believe this is the cab car that struck a truck a few months ago at a grade crossing.

Update, 214 has been moved inside the Whitby facility, saw it inside one of the berths.

Refurb cab car 214 was on an equipment move from Willowbrook to Whitby.

Series II car 2114 has been placed into service, now fully refurbished and in the two tone scheme.

Let's just hope once GO gets the electric locos they don't just store them for almost 2 years with little usage!

Actually, judging by the inclusion of a 21xx Series II car, one scheduled for refurbishment, might be yet another storage line.

208 appears to be midset (first car behind the Series X Cab Car) on a ready to use consist with 679.

That's 214. 205 had also been in service some time in the middle of May.

None from what I've seen.

Been situated there for a while now. It did enter service one day but like with 214, it was taken off the next day.
