How will the residents access the townhomes?
Through their doors?
If you look at the sign, you'll see a driveway access in the upper right corner, from Webb. It passes under part of the building to access the condo building courtyard, and then appears to have an entry for underground parking for the townhomes - so they'd be a lot like the ones on Shipp or Mississauga Valley, or the new ones at Limelight - which works well. Surface parking would detract from the design and u/g parking can provide at least 2 spots per unit, maybe even 4.

Mod's, This thread has to be broken into 2 threads like I thought it would have to be, as the first posting is for the north side of Webb drive while the other is on the south side.

The original poster of the thread may have more inside info, but the city has no idea about the 2 towers. There has not been formal or informal talks about what been plan for the north site other than the agreement where Webb Dr is to go as well the new Main St to Sq One from Webb Dr.

Cars for the townhouse and apartment building will enter the site off Webb Dr under the podium at grade into the centre area, to go underground.

There is no plans at this time to extend Palgave Rd to Webb Dr, but it does not doing so at a later date if the needs for it are needed. The plan shows a road from the site to Palgave Rd.

No work is plan to extend Webb Dr east to connect to Kariya Dr at Enfield Pl N, so a full intersection can be built there. Also, there is no money do do so at this time. Once the site plan has been approved for construction of any projects, only then will some or all of Webb Dr extension will be built.

The new owners of the land at Burnhamthorpe & Kariya Dr have agree with the city on the Webb Dr realignment also.

The downside which is a good thing, all those poor 2+car family in the Davis complexes that are one car spot building, will have to find a new place to for free parking, to the point they will have to pay to park overnight.
At the time CityGate 1 & 2 were constructed the zoning laws for parking spaces were different than what they are today. These two towers shared some 30parking spaces for visitors. Out these some 30 spots, 10 parking spaces were meant for visitors of commercial units including live/work units on ground floor (as per the City of Mississauga). The builder sold some 10 parking spaces to the Medical and Dental centre at CityGate1, leaving residential/ commerical visitors of both the buildings with only some 20 parking spaces. This is a big problem!! Can someone tell me, how could a builder sell visitor parking spaces that were meant for shared parking space/common elements?

Agree with you 100% - well said. We need to measure growth and temper it through the current, present, and future needs. If Mississauga wants to move out of Torontos shadows they need to
take calculated risks. 6 Stories on Hurontario is unreasonable.

I find this odd going to OMB already, considering there been no public meeting for this project that I know of.

It was stated last night by council that they and staff screw up Webb Dr by not having thing slop down to meet the low density houses next to it.

The city will loose this this appeal since the standards for the area west of the site has been set for this site as well to the east.

The site is on the south side of the future Webb Dr extension to the east of current location, between the plan Palgrave Rd extension to Burnhamthorpe Rd W and next to the school to the east. The 3s Townhouse with 31 units is beside the existing public school and the existing houses to the south. The 6s runs on Webb Dr, well the 18s is on Palgrave Rd. No retail for this project as far as I can see.

Entrance will be off Webb Dr with a surface driveway loop to the underground parking with units above the entrance/exit.

The other Baif project is to the north.

No address at this time and this is what the city is using at this time.

Nothing to write home about it

Mods Note:
180-190 Webb Dr (MCC, Baif Developments Ltd, 18s + 5s + 3's Townhouse, Kirkor Architects & Planners)

Palgrave Rd will "NOT" be extended to Webb Dr nor to Burnhamthorpe Rd.

Construction could start in 2017 and move-in, in 2019 at this time. One of the better plans for Mississauga even though I don't support the extra parking.

Next Planning and Development meeting for this will be on Oct. 5th

This project will go to the market in 2016 once a sales office is built at Kariya & Burnhamthrope on Baif future development property.

I wasn't at the last meeting where they were calling for apartments in place of condo as well revising the plan. If its to be apartments, why is there needs to be a sells office other than Baif is planning on building on their other site across the street from this one?? No plans have surface yet for that one so far and could happen in early 2016.

Mods, Kirkor Architects & Planners are the architect for this project and using 180 & 190 Webb Dr for an address for the site.

any updates on the lot west of planned Main Street and north of Webb Dr?
It is next to 223 Webb Dr. It seems to be owned by same Baif developer but can't really find anything on this piece..
