At something like 250-ish by 200-ish meters, this building would be almost as long as (and much wider than) HUB Mall, which is 300 m.

The most terrifying post-secondary campus I've been to is Université Laval, where all the buildings are incredibly large and imposing and have a vaguely Soviet feel. This could have a nicer-looking version of that vibe. (I mean that as a compliment.)

Was at Nait today Saw this as I was leaving. Looks like Pile Testing set up.

Coring machines most definitely -- with the large expanses promised in the ASC build-out, structural capacity of soils will be paramount.

Not to do really about this specific project, but I couldn't think where else to discuss further NAIT expansion. What I'm wondering about is, are they going to replace that whole strip of parking lot on the west side of the NAIT campus. For the longest of time that section has been on the "back side" of the campus but now all that parking will be right in the middle of the campus. I wonder if there are any plans to reconfigure parking so that it isn't dividing up the old buildings to the future buildings that will be on the Blatchford site.
