Give it a year. They always stay relatively controversy-avoidant when the election gets near, and the average voter forgets about the headlines that upset them.It's like the UCP want to lose the next election.
I still wish the NDP had a better roster of policy priorities. They haven't had a majority since 2015 and most people have no idea what they could expect from Nenshi as premier.
On a related note, here are all votes cast, by party, since 1905. Even after the Conservative-Wildrose merge, the elections tend to be pretty close.
