That is still a lot of people. I think of IT alone from the time my SO was there, Her pay rases were based on what the Nurses negotiated. They also had a lot of staff. And now because of the digital tech involved the IT Dept is needed more. Netcare and now Connect care are to of the world leading programs that were developed here and are the envy of almost every health system in Canada.

Our health care system is a disaster and continues to be broken - and broken apart - by those responsible for funding and delivering it.

Our relationship with Ottawa and with the rest of the country continues to be fractured by those responsible for funding and delivering it.

And what do we get? A survey on what Alberta’s automobile license plates should look like as those in charge have decided to change the motto on them from Wild Rose Country to Strong and Free. As if that’s what’s been burning in our minds as an issue to spend time and money on.

The UCP often seems good with creating or coming up with distractions, but this license plate one now sort of seems to me like Nero fiddling while Rome burns.

There are some important problems to deal with right now and Smith's attention should be very focused on that, not going off on tangents like this.
