Seems to be some momentum around the Warehouse Park. First the Parks, then the Westrich development right across from this site, and now this.

Curious to see who else starts proposals, I'm extremely optimistic there's going to be more mid-rises, but as always hoping for a high rise to complement the mix.

Interesting. I rented from MHA in one of their older buildings downtown years ago. They're mostly a local company I believe.
They were trying to launch a project adjacent to Meridian Plaza (one of their buildings) on 111st at that time, but nothing took off.

I really like the idea of using an adjacent wall to create mini yards in an urban setting. I think it's also great how the back alley units surrounding this park end up being the most desirable, which isn't typical downtown.

One of the best mid rise proposals in a while.

Great to see. Maybe there's an obvious answer to this question, but what's the sudden attraction here for developers? WD Park for sure, but there's plenty of other lots around the park that are not moving. Is The Parks constructions starting the impetus here?

I think part of the attraction is the closer proximity to Norquest, GMAC, and Canterra Centre, than the developable lots on 106 st for example.

Less sudden attraction, more complete lack of anything happening and pent-up demand and hope.
