Totally shocking, and sad to think it could have been avoided in many ways. It sounds like the driver who hit them was under the influence, and also passing a car on the right hand side.

There’s a growing memorial on the west side of the Dome, lots of flowers, some skittles and purple gatorade too.

Social media is trying to organize a parade of red on 17th tonight for Gaudreau, and apparently the Calgary Tower will be red for him tonight.

They are going to shift the memorial over to the grass beside the stairs so people can actually get in the Dome. Crazy how big this memorial is now, almost the entire stair is filled up.

Flames are doing a candlelight vigil outside the Dome at 8 tomorrow evening.

Went by today and was blown away by the memorial.

In construction related news there were 4 pile drivers on site for the new arena and they were digging utilities.

Not sure the Flames are prepared to tank this season, beat Seattle 6-1 and the Oilers 6-1 and 6-3 in the split squad games. Outscoring the opponents 18-5 so far haha

Oh for sure, 2.5 preseason games is far from an accurate projection of where the team is. In my years of watching, it seems the better they do in preseason, the worse they do in the season, so we are on pace for the #1 pick currently lol.
