I don't see the DP as released yet. I got all excited when I saw the excavator. Is this actually going ahead? Is this some pre-work that is an approval condition or something?

I think you can get an excavation permit prior to release of your DP. Likely what has occurred here. the DP has been approved, RNDSQR is probably just working on tying up the final conditions, but want to get started on excavation in the meantime.

I'm really really excited to see this moving. I will continue to reiterate how wrong I was every time they tried to spruce up the area under the flyover. I figured it was a lost cause. When the playground was funded, I was surprised and skeptical. I use park frequently, and it's always packed. I'm glad people have way more vision than me.

This will just be the icing on the cake for completely transforming that cul de sac.

As the foundation shapes up, I'm shocked at how small the footprint is. I think that will add even more to the cool factor.

Looking back at page 1, the footprint is small, not a huge building, perfect outdoor space (outside of being along Edmonton Trail... not a super busy road but still).
