Sadly I don't watch much TV, but that sounds like it would really have been worth seeing. I totally forgot that the NMC was open Canada Day. I was out of province. Did anyone else go?
 
I went but the line-up was huge....I might have waited it out, but my 4 year old son wouldn't have lol. They had a good crowd around EV this year. They said the Canada Day stretch from Peace Bridge to Ft Calgary had about 250K people this year.

I stopped in the lobby yesterday while showing off the EV to a former Calgarian friend of mine. We got there too late in the day to explore the building beyond the entry way unfortunately, but I've got a date with my fiancee set up for next weekend. I'm really looking forward to it. It was hard to pick what was more beautiul, the building or the music from the Honen's competition filling it. This one is such a winner.

Anyone know when the final panelling on the corners is due?
 
No idea when they will finish off those panels. Apparently there are liens involved now over some unpaid bills.
 
does anyone know how much longer until the outside cladding is done being installed? It seems like they are still missing some along the corners.

It might be a while. From what I've heard they are sorting out some sort of disagreement with the contractor.
 
Great picks indeed. It looks like the those missing corner tiles are finally filled in.
 
Are the tiles actually finished? Some of the photos on the website look like renderings. The back side of Studio Bell was definitely missing tiles a few weeks ago the last time I looked.
