From when I asked people who worked there, their originally was one design to fuse the tiles together, but they ended up having trouble actually doing the work - the materials, temperature changes and manufacturing techniques were mentioned as the culprit. This all took place very late in construction and they had to go back to the drawing board for a solution.

If that was indeed the case, I am sure there were some construction and legal blame wrangling that also delayed the tiles, because some corners are complete while others haven't been installed in over a year.

Thats what I heard anways, take it with a grain of salt

They are working on it and doing some excavation out front.
