Strategic is 2/2 on reviving these dead projects. I was down in Mission the other day and the 2020 building is a neighborhood fixture now with active businesses.
I wonder what the discount would be over doing a site from scratch? I would suspect there is more risk/restrictions for a half-built project being purchased and restarted, but you also have some of the work done already. Would be interested to hear some comments from those with the experience of such things ;)

While the original parkade in One was not totally complete, most of it was. That starting point had to save anywhere from 9 to 12 months of excavation, shoring, site prep and concrete pouring. I don't know what $$$ that would equate to but it is a big chunk of the construction schedule.
The risk of course, is whether the foundation is safe. Obviously, whatever modifications or additions they had to make after the fact, made it so.

I had a dream last night that it got really cold in August, and that this one had its elevator core above street level already. That is all :p

I had a reality today that is was really warm in January and that this one had its elevator core above street level :p

Was about to post that. Thanks Surreal.
