Imagine if Captain John opened a restaurant in East Bayfront as a stand-alone structure or at ground-level of a residential or commercial building?

Here's updated (Yes, second time already!) 3D imagery from Google Earth in Port Colborne showing the Jadran awaiting scrapping:

Waterfront Toronto are working with Ports Toronto to 'do something' with the former Capt John space.

Request for Proposals (RFP) # 2017-57: Dock Wall Management Pilot Project – Yonge Street Slip – East Side
(11/2017)

Waterfront Toronto (legally known as Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation) invites all qualified firms to submit a Proposal for a Dock Wall Management Pilot Project that will organize and manage marine activities on the east side of the Yonge Street slip. This will be a 19-month pilot project in conjunction with PortsToronto (legally known as Toronto Port Authority) the owner of the water lot at the foot of Yonge Street.

A great remnant of Toronto history.
Is no one going to make rings, bracelets, trinkets from "Captain John's" remains?
I'm sure they'd be popular as curiosity pieces.

Here is a look at the Marine Recycling Corporation yard in Port Colborne on March 12th 2023.
