True ... but that was in connection to Dundas Square and THIS is the Dundas Square thread not the bash Fantino thread (and he should be!)

I know, just figured that's why he posted about Fantino :p

Progress as of Friday:

Is that black glass or some other kind of cladding?

Better black than grey!

Are there any new renderings for this building? I looks like it will stay roughly the same.

Thanks for the update. It looks like they're keeping the cladding on the East side. They added the windows but maintained the cladding.

Finally they're covering up the HVAC units with something. It looks like most of the new look for this building will be that facing the square.

There is too much grey in this so far for my liking. Hopefully some more colour will show up soon.

A couple of things:

1 - The mullions on the far right where there used to be an ad indicate that glass will extend across the building which is consistent with the only rendering released.
2 - The type of glass being used and the lack of a picture window indicate that this will not look like the only rendering released.

Only rendering released:

Result: We have no idea how this is going to turn out.

Shouldn't there be a city document that shows the drawings at least? When a company buys a property, and makes major changes, don't they need to submit an application?

Maybe because it's an existing building it doesn't have to?
