On an overcast day, Montage (or is the tall one Neo?) looks sterile and cold. However, on a sunny day the tower looks sleek, refined and bright. This split-personality works for me. Of all the cityplace towers, this development has the most going for it in terms of character, ascetics and variety. It does not presume to be luxurious or presumptuous. Just the opposite, it nicely responds to the dull-drum of its surroundings but also raises the bar quite a bit. For me, this is hands-down the nicest cityplace tower and a very hansom addition to Toronto skyline. Had it been built in another new-condo neighbourhood, Bay St. corridor or lower Yonge St. it might stand-out more.
