Looks like work is being done to have something open again in the retail unit of this building at the SW corner of Davenport & Christie

Love this stretch of Davenport! Garage conversions! Multiplexes! Coffee shop/bar/event spaces! Art galleries! Taken 28 July.

Kudos to the effort they're putting into that space. That unit has been a tough spot to get something sustainable there for a while. The former restaurant and wine bar concept didn't last long. And it sat empty for a long time before that.
 
Looks like a synchronized selling of these several properties at Davenport & Madison, just east of Spadina Road:

1865 Davenport, just West of Symington next to Mr. Convenience. It's been empty for decades, at least as far back as 2007. Barber shop opening soon.
