Yeah, these efforts are awesome and important for key seasonal changeovers and such.^

There have been similar efforts in the past, some organized and some not, going back decades. Some of them are municipal (Edmonton's Clean City Crew), some are non-profit focused (Downtown Proud) and some had businesses "adopting" and being responsible for specific blocks. Some have survived in various renditions, others have not...
I wonder how that location will work for them and would have thought that something on Jasper or 104st might have been better.
Actually, the spot that could have been very neat for them would have been the old 7-11 on 103st.
