it was previously a patio when grandma lee's - if i'm not mistaken - was a main floor tenant in energy square... the space isn't that narrow as it sits behind that "planter/parkade exhuaust) which in turn sits in a pretty big setback from the sidewalk edge to the actual building face of energy square.Red Star wants to put a patio between Energy Square and their building, which would make for an interesting space given it's quite narrow.
