FYI there was a major water main break in front of the McKinney Building Sunday. It's being repaired now, not sure of the cause.

This past week I wanted to pick up the latest editions of The Tomato and Edify in the downtown core.

Sunterra at Commerce Place used to carry The Tomato, but not anymore.
The DBA office at Bell Tower only had the previous edition of Edify, but not the current edition.
The guest desk at ECC usually has Edify, but it was empty.

I ended up obtaining both The Tomato and Edify at Bountiful Market this afternoon. Yes, I had to drive to the southside of town.

Do better, please.

On that note, the DBA used to put them out along with their guides on a rack just outside of their door which I could easily pick up while walking by.

Now I assume you have to go inside to get them. Yes, DBA do better. I could be wrong, but I thought they actually want people to pick up the guides not discourage it.

I work downtown, so I do go there regularly during the week and see it is fairly busy now, more so than before which is good. However, on the weekend during the day one of the big problems is the change in parking.

I now avoid paid parking downtown on the weekends like the plague and I know others especially older people do too. Not everyone can or wants to use apps and when you restrict or take away options people are familiar or comfortable with, it is not surprising fewer people will come.
