Having never done this before, is there a place where one might find their contact?

In each building thread, you'll find a link, typically on the first page, but sometimes its a few pages in, linking to the Application Information Centre.

For this building 2400 Dundas West, the link was on the 3rd page in the thread, but I'm bringing it here for you:

Once you click through on that you'll see the City Planner's contact info off to the right. Which I am also bringing forward below:

Its useful to be able to refer to specific documents in the files when talking to the Planner.

In this case, the Planning Rationale Report, and the Traffic Impact Report will likely have anything you may need, while the architecture files will likely also show where any traffic light goes, there won't be text explaining the choice as there may be in the other files.

Is this building/connection going to make it quicker to access Dundas West station from Parkdale/Roncy? It's quite a commute right now at a 25-30 minute walk.

Not walking - the new entrance will be east of the current entrance, under the railway tracks. With no road there, then it would be quicker to walk to Dundas/Bloor.

For those who live near the planned King-Liberty GO station (Between Sudbury St–Abell St intersection and Joe Schuster Way) it will be a one-stop ride to GO Bloor and a minute or two walk onto the subway platform.

But from Roncesvalles and King it would be quicker to take the 504A to Dundas West station.
