A year late and a billion dollars short. Schweitzer has had a late revelation that he needs to step up for the 1.5 million souls here now?

Its almost embarrassing really and speaks clearly to how the province views Calgary vs. Edmonton. Both cities (and the entire province obviously) have been significantly impacted economically by COVID and an entire year after the provincial government got on board with pumping Calgary's tires to attract companies, jobs and investment the province realizes now is the time that the same initiative should be applied in Edmonton? Why......???
 
Agreed…..but for sure the province views YYC’s DT as the flagship, in some rights justified. But, we all know if their DT fails…that city has nothing to fall back on. Whereas we have 10B in area construction on the books…..amongst others

Because they now realize that if they don't get the votes in the Edmonton Area, they're screwed in the election next year.
