MIT!!!!! This will piss off pff our friends in YYC….they have a complex that their “Fintech” prowess due to their cheap and abundant office space - call Center crap.

Bro, the Calgary tech sector should start leasing office space in your head the way they live rent free in there 😂 maybe that’s how we can lure more tech companies to the Edmonton area.

All in all, great news though. I was scrolling the website and lots of big names from the Edmonton business scene (particularly pharma and machine learning) are a part of this.

Shhhhhhhh! But don’t tell YYC’ers that their Neo Financial group is nothing more than immigrant slave labor tolling around in the bowels on their DT Bay building pretending to be under the guise of “Fintech” when it’s really just, “Thank you for calling Neo, please enter the last 4 digest of your phone number please.”

My credit card with Neo apparently got hacked and they now have had to replace it four times, so I feel there may be some security issues with their staff. I have had few problems with any other card I have.

A YYC credit with no assets, no cash on hand, no ties to a bank, yet banking on hopes and dreams that my cloud money will be safe....no thank you...call me traditional but

The only reason I ended up dealing with them is because they took over the Bay Credit cards. I find they aren't better than any of the other credit card companies in any way.

They do have a rewards program, but for me I find it is meager and applies only to a very limited amount of my spending. I actually get much better rewards from my bank credit card.
